Sinossi

Dopo che un'intervista troppo aggressiva a Carolton Drake, il capo della sinistra Life Foundation, gli rovina la carriera, la vita del reporter Eddie Brock cambia completamente. Licenziato e lasciato dalla fidanzata, Anne Weying, inizia pian piano a indagare sulle terribili verità che si nascondono dietro l'apparente benevolenza dell'azienda.

Nel corso delle sue indagini, Eddie scopre degli esperimenti sugli esseri umani e viene in contatto con una pericolosa forma di vita aliena: un parassita che presto s'insinua nel suo corpo, donandogli delle abilità straordinarie. Ma Carlton Drake e i suoi meschini piani non saranno l'unico ostacolo che Eddie e il simbionte, una volta divenuti Venom, dovranno affrontare.
